You know, I think this thread may be evidence of a new paradigm in threads. It just goes to show that there is NO thread bubble.
In spite of recent ruthless attacks, I am thinking quite often about a certain Mr. Fuchs, and praying that he will haul his big orange ass back to the ranch any minute now.
Jack, thank you so much for your kind words. Ruthless attacks? Jest man, jest, like water off a ducks back.
Jack
I sent an email to Jamie and let her know we hoped to see her back soon. Jamie has a pretty good sense of humor, I'm sure she's just taking a breather. But now she knows we're thinking of her.
My ruthless Bob Ross attacks? Hmmm, how about your ruthless Kincade attacks? People with glass bongs should not throw rocks my friend :)
Dont get down. October is not over yet!
Jack, thanks man! The key thing with the bong, as each of the 20 odd, sometimes very odd, roomates I've had, were huffers, is to put ice in the chamber before packing the bowl.
Perhaps Mr. Fuchs return will be the 10 sigma event in October
Hmmm...perhaps Mr. Fuchs is actually on a 10 sigma mission.
Be on the lookout for news reports citing eyewitness accounts of a clydesdale-lookin' big ass orange cat prancing down Wall St. darting in & out of brokerage firms & stirring shit up:
"Mr. Smith...where's that quarterly report?"
"Errr...that big-ass orange fucker cat ate it."
By the way, is it Mr. Klaus Fuchs???
If so, I wouldn't put it past him.
A missing large orange cat is not a trivial matter. Kindly point your browsers to surferx.blogspot.com and tell me if you enjoy losing a cat like Mr. Fuchs?
or maybe this can become the missing persons and cats thread….
dude, come now, or we could make the the SJJ thread?
Wow, dude sorry man...I'm a cat person myself. I checked your site & yes they're both good looking cats. I've lost cats too & it's not a good feeling. Wasn't trying to offend. Please excuse my poor attempt at humor. Good luck and of course I hope the mister comes back. I don't understand "...or we could make the the SJJ thread" but that's cool!
"Or maybe he meant the SactoQT, Jamie, and naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah"
Hey, yeah, that sorta works too. Sounds good to me.
BTW funny thing about Jamie, huh? Maybe you were right & she was taking off for the weekend. I'd think if she's been around she'd post...what with all the lamenting, etc. Well, I dunno.
Or maybe the hubby's been reading & didn't approve...?naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
maybe I should have SQT write an email to HERSELF also! LOL
I'd send it for you if I could only figure out what to say.......
The Fuch's is still not back huh? That's awful. My tabby's a big guy too. He's not fat, but he's tall and big. Every time someone comes over they do a double take and say "OMG that's a big cat." He's ornery as hell too. But you know what's funny, he's been an indoor cat so long I can't convince him to take his badass outside. Good for me though since I don't have to worry about losing him.
I hope Fuch's comes home soon. I hate to see Surfer-X suffer.
Hey, yeah, there's a couple new pix...look good.
Not a new one, but that one with Mr. Fuchs licking the bath faucet water...damn my cat used to do the same thing! He would slap at the water with his paw, too. Funny some kinds aren't sooooooooo afraid of the water. He seemed to even consider jumping into the shower sometimes. In the mornings, he would get into the (dry) tub & raise all kinds of hell...spinning around and making all kinds of metallic pinging noises. I'd pull aside the curtain & he'd just stop & look at me with a crazed look in his eyes. He was a spaz. Too bad I didn't get custody.
I just looked at the new pictures of the Fuch's, and I swear he could be my cat's double, they have almost the exact same markings.. it's eerie. My cat doesn't have the notched ear though, otherwise I'd think my cat was cheating on me.
I use the word “emoticon†as a substitute for “devilâ€. ie “speak of the emoticonâ€
Now I get it.
Well gee thanks. I think?
I meant it as a compliment. You and Jamie do get on a roll.
I was starting to feel totally abandoned!
The kids are at grandma's so I got to be a free adult for awhile. The blog took a backseat to a dinner I didn't have to cook. Halleluiah!
Oh well then, congratulations are in order. Those times are rare enough I am sure!
Yep, can't afford the nanny like all my yuppie counterparts. I actually have to raise them myself. What was I thinking?
I guess I should be glad you are still speaking to me at all! Even if it is the BACK SEAT! (ok ok Ill stop,,,)
You are having abandonment issues aren't you? But I know the truth, you really want to talk to Jamie. Uh huh, I'm the one who's second best, don't deny it. I'm just not as good at the double entendre, otherwise I'd be able to say something about your "back seat" comment, but not me....
And you say I'm bad.
"BACK SEAT"...man, Jack, you are pulling for the downward spiral...if Jamie were here...we'd make it to Huh-1000 tonight.
SQT, nice to hear you got a well-deserved night off!
Hey, if thats true, then why was I always apologizing to YOU every morning then? LOL
I don't know, I think Jamie was included in a few of those. Actually I think I remember a few apologies to the whole blog. You must have a guilty conscience.
No, you are just to SHY to be that bad when Jamie is not around to help deflect the depravity of my answers!
True.
Jamie's kind of like my bullet proof vest. I just hide behind her and say "who me?" and "she made me do it."
Yes. I have a guilty conscience in ADVANCE, for greater efficiency.
You know what they say, it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission. Seems to work.
Yes. You do…. And dont think it is not an obvious (and cheap) trick, which Jim and I can easily see though!
Sh**!
I meant "downward spiral" in the nicest possible way. Downard spirals are great for unwinding...definitely worth those mornings when you wake up & say "please let me get through this...I'll never blog like that again!"

I think it's called "bloggers remorse." I've had those days.
SQT, Jamie's your "wing-woman". We completely understand the concept...we invented it.
SQT, Jamie’s your “wing-womanâ€. We completely understand the concept…we invented it.
That's right! (I actually had to have my husband explain the wing-man concept to me, I had no idea what it was. Maybe that's a good thing.)
Actually, I wish I had known about the wing-man concept sooner, I could've used one in my dating days. But at least I have Jamie to cover me on the blog. Heaven knows I could use the help.
That's one thing...I don't get the Bob Ross deal...maybe I should look into it. Some TV painter dude? Does he really look like you?
"Downward spiral is also an understatement when discussing my last three days conversations on the blog here…"
Aww, come now..."understatement", "overstatement" such absolute words. How bout just "differestatement".
The J radar... I could use some coverage right now.
I don't know what it is, but Jamie does bring out the devil in me. In a good way though...
Once you see Bob Ross, you will know how deeply you cut me with that last comment SQT….
SJ Jim made the Bob Ross reference. I have made no Bob Ross comments.. despite all the BAD comments from you..... See, I am a good girl.
"...bring out the devil in me. In a good way though..."
There are good devils & there are bad devils...then there are emoticons.
I meant no disrespect about the wing-woman comment. I simply meant that my comments don't look as lame when Jamie has everyone laughing.
