By Rep. Gwen Moore (D- WIsconsin)

Step right up, job creators
Thirteen million unemployed
Now is the time to fill that void
Step right up, you job creators
We've given you tax breaks
Billions made, increased your take
By two hundred and thirty percent
Just in the last decade
This is mighty hefty when you consider that Joe Sixpack's wages have been flat since the seventies
Step right up, you job creators
We've cut billions from the funding of the impoverished
A sharp decline, while we've enriched your bottom line
At least fifteen hundred millionaires in 2009
No tax on income, didn't pay a dime
At least twenty million hungry, just sucking their thumbs at dinner time
Step right up, job creators
Unemployment near nine percent
Yet you hide trillions on the side, needed for entrepreneurs to invest
Here's a small question from my quiz list:
Why haven't those trillions been used to rescue the small business?
Step right up, you job creators
“Reduce the deficit without increasing taxes,” you say
“Just put Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, the social safety net under the budget axe,” you pray
Step right up, you job creators
We've cut revenue so you'd invest
But you've taken this money on a global quest to manufacture offshore
And given no profit to America, your benefactor
Step right up, you job creators
Where are the jobs you made over a decade of largesse?
Have we enriched you just for jest?
Step right up, you job creators
You've rallied to destroy jobs of those the public employ
But you've failed to replace the livelihoods of police, firefighters, and teachers
What a disgrace
A huge increase in millionaires during The Great Recession while millions lost their homes and jobs
A great depression
We've counted on the wealth to trickle down
But the stealth of the death of the middle class propounds the belief
That you job creators are joblessness perpetrators
Step right up, each and every job creator
We must insist, do you really exist?
Or is this just political theater?
