Hate to brag but oh well. Before I resume this isn't investment advice- just to dot my i's and cross my t's. Anyway, I started a run-of-the-mill 401k about 1.5 years ago with my new job. So- despite all the crap that's been going on out there I just got my perspective report and lo and behold its up an average of 11-12% for the last quarter and around 8% overall for the year. Granted the 401k is composed of rather conservative things. But still- 8% YOY is way better than I would have expected.
