Each bottom square contains 10 more dots than the one above. This is noticeable when the dots are few (left) but not when they’re many (right). This blindspot is why you don’t care about saving $100 when buying a house but you do when buying clothes.

I think those images are from two different maps. Russia spans East to West almost the whole entire hemisphere.
Russia should be a little wider than Africa. The Arabian Peninsula is of part of Africa. There's a lot of conflicting information on total land area on both countries.
The largest country in the world is Russia with a total area of 6,601,665 mi² and a land area of 16,376,870 Km² (6,323,142 mi²), equivalent to 11% of the total world's landmass of 57,510,000 square miles.
Extending nearly halfway around the Northern Hemisphere and covering much of eastern and northeastern Europe and all of northern Asia, Russia has a maximum east-west extent of some 5,600 miles (9,000 km) and a north-south width of 1,500 to 2,500 miles (2,500 to 4,000 km).
Africa's total land area is approximately 11,724,000 square miles and the continent measures about 5,000 miles (8,000 km) from north to south and about 4,600 miles (7,400 km) from east to west.
