No we didn't order delivery takeout every night. There wasn't many delivery places like there is today. Pizza places didn't start delivering until Dominos started doing it on a national level.
I don't have any memories of actually going to a restaurant with my parents. My mom would pick up fried chicken and burger meals from various long gone chains, that was far superior what you find today.
As for having all of the toys.
I was living in South Florida when I was 25. I didn't have the kind of money to live on ocean access.
But TPB, don't you remember when your parents ordered delivery every night back in the 70s and 80s? Like 5x a week?
And having two jetskis, a Hunter 22 boat at the docks, a 4/2.5 house, and a brand new Bitchin' Camaro all by 25 years of age?
