I'm a bit suspicious as to why platinum would be in an antennae, especially a pound of the stuff. Gold is used in electronics, but only very small amounts.

I am pretty sure that is a joke. What use is platinum in an antenna? Also, 5 pounds of copper? Doubtful. I am familiar with broadcast antennas in the VHF and UHF range and they are either hollow metal with loops or a thin strand of staggered metal filament in a fiberglass rod. I do not think gig range has a significantly different tech. Maybe the copper is the wires leading from the base of the tower to the antennas at the top.

The joke being to risk your neck to climb a live tower with a saw, just like saying the bowls in the lion's cage at the zoo are solid gold.

I think it's a brilliant meme, on one hand, it's a driver bit that can be driven by a Torx bit. But of course the Zion crybabies' will cry Antisemitism, but the mechanics in this meme is sound without the troupe. It's nice to have them in the mental trap for a change.
