I am sending some money to Ron Paul.

I am way to the left of Obama.

I don't like the government waste on the military and the bailouts and the Federal Reserve and on and on.

I really seriously don't like the government support of housing prices. And for this issue alone it makes sense to support Ron Paul.

And although I support single payer, we aren't getting anything like that from the Democrats. Both parties support corporate control of health care, so we single payer supporters don't really lose much with Ron Paul.

Ron Paul scared the beegejus out of me in '08,
I couldn't think of any thing more frightening than a Government with out Government. But back then the Government was there to make sure the little guy got a fair shake. Like I expected the Government post '08 would have made some grandiose housing program, where the Government took all of those houses, they paid for with TARP Money, (That Democrats like to say wasn't paid, when they want to make one argument, but then says, it was paid, when they need to make a new argument) and created some American dream program, where they made cheap easy loans to any working family that wanted a house and could prove they were working.
God knows there's plenty of inventory for it. This way would have been cheaper in the long run, than the trillions that has been spent to date and we're still circling the drain(as Ellie likes to say).

That's the kind of things while one can argue the merits or philosophical aspects, still a hell of lot better. Than letting corporations tap in and harness Uncle Sams generosity for it's Citizens. That's why Corporations wanted to be recognized as people. SO they could become Welfare people on a massive scale.

It's so perverse now with what we expect out of our Government we need someone like Ron Paul to totally destroy that mechanism, and get back to basics. After Ron Paul, future Liberals can put back in place, the social braces that we've had in our system for most of the 20'th Century protections for the Middle Class and better support for the Poor. To not only feed and house them, but have systems in place that can help them be more self sufficient.

And the only out sourced part of the whole system could be, the businesses that actually hire people, to work. In fact that should be Corporations only duty they get to take part in, that and of course taxes.
