What can I tell you, it makes complete sense to me. If a point can't be fully and properly made with a sound bite, that doesn't make it wrong.
He's saying pure libertarian philosophy doesn't work, and besides, big business would never support it, because the truth is that they depend on big government (you know - favorable tax treatment - corporate subsidies - a big voice in writing legislation that's in their interest...and so on) .
This was not complex or hard to understand, and he didn't contradict himself.
His genius is his ability to boil it down and make the point in a simple and fairly concise way.
Ron Paul's a nice guy. If I had to have dinner with one of theRepublican candidates, I'd prefer to have it with him -- but, his policies
are off the wall.
