That can't be it. I think the GOP has made it clear that they don't care how many women Newt fondles. It would probably just up his numbers if there was evidence that he groped Pelosi.

Gotta love the Christian wing of American politics. Used to be they cared enough about the morality questions that they actually used it to vet candidates from EITHER party. Now, when one of "theirs" has serious character issues, they cheer the criminal and denounce the vetter!
Newt says his moral failings make him gooder, and that's good enough for me!

Yeah..very fitting. You fly around with set programming and fire according that programming...hitting things other than the intended targets because your pattern-matching software is crappy.
That's not at all like how Predators work.
