The difference between different political ideologies and differing religions may be just a dangling participle(s).

Imagine your own image !

I've been accused of being an internet grammar police officer. Sure, it can be obnoxious - but when someone is attempting to make an argument and they can't formulate a sentence, their message is lost.

My grandmother was a schoolteacher - she used to send my letters back to me, corrected. At least I'm not that bad!

A real Internet grammar police officer would know that the Internet is a proper noun, hence the use of the definite article. An internet is simply any network of computer networks. The Internet is the largest internet and spans the globe. So capitalize the I.

Are you thinking of someone in particular, say, TPB?

I would capitalize the "Interwebs," which is a series of tubes that hold all the information that reach out like a spiderweb and somehow passes said information through the air into the teevee screen that sits on my lap. But not the internet, which is some random theory in which I refuse to believe. It's a passing fad, will never catch on...

I carry a badge & toy gun that I bought at the grocery store, it makes me feel important.

Actually, there have been many times that tpb/tot made sense. There was one guy who comes to mind that was quite condescending, purporting to be quite the wheeler/dealer, yet he couldn't formulate a complete sentence.

My fav, though, was some guy years ago who was obviously drunk and printed a rambling manifesto. Nomo replied, "AA.org" and the guy went ballistic. It was sad, but funny as hell.

But I digress. Oops - I really had no point anyway.

If you want to get their goat, Grammar Nazis HATE when you misspell Zyklan B.

I care but don't care. Obviously a lot of posts are late at night. Being tired does not make you unintelligent. I gave up on caring. My grammar is shit in a lot of my comments. I'd rather hear ideas and people not be afraid to speak them because of the grammar Nazis.

But he said he was "an internet grammar Nazi", so in that case it's an adjective that is modifying the noun Nazi.

Grammar nazis are gaining credibility in their ability to suss out "AI" generated content that subtly doesn't quite conform to vernacular standards.
