They all belong to the same club of liars and thieves, where they exchange information and bodily fluids nightly. HTH!
They are all vampires and the lead vampire (broker license) controls the minds and thoughts of his slave vampires (salespersons license). So they all know what you are doing now! Wear garlic and lots of crosses and dont try to negotiate the commission down or get cash back from commission and you will be ok.
Hi folks, just want to share an observation and get your thoughts.
About 5 years ago I purchased a home with the help of a local agent in the East Bay (I use the term "help" very loosely and ignore the fact that it was a mistake to buy at that time since that point is not what this is about).
Fast forward 5 years to the start of 2012. I have not spoken to that agent in 5 years.
I hire a new agent to assist me with investment property hunt since I am looking in a different area of the East Bay than when I originally bought. Within a couple days of hiring the new agent, I get a call from the original agent asking me how things are going and whether I am interested in purchasing any new properties, investment or otherwise.
That made me wonder... Is there some data-base that realtors have among themselves that specifies who their clients are to keep buyers from having multiple agents or something?
It just seemed a bit too coincidental given the timing of the phone call. Perhaps it was word of mouth?
If I were an agent (god forbid), maybe I would want something that says to agents, hey this name/email corresponds to a client I have been doing work for.
Just thinking out loud.
