1. Atheists and agnostics don't like each other. Before, I always thought they were on the same "team."

2. Far-right propaganda is very effective.

3. There's just as much willful ignorance on the Far Left as there is on the Far Right.

4. Facts don't matter. People believe what they WANT to believe in spite of the facts.

5. It's possible for arguments over future house prices to become personal. Which is pointless, since no one knows the future.

6. Some trolls are professionals that like arguments for their own sake.

7. Race-war threads are the most popular.

8. Obama's skin pigmentation really does get to some people.

9. Some people really do think that they can get rich by having a mortgage.

10. I'm in the wrong business. I should have gone into banking and money lending. Engineering? Productive activity? That's for the Chinese to do.

HEY YOU says

The one thing I've learned is that no one here knows what is going to happen in the housing market including myself. LOL

But, we have so much fun speculating, don't we????

Yeah, it IS entertaining. The other aspect is that we don't really need to know what is going to happen to the housing "market". We only need to know whether we will be able to live where we can be useful. The rest is just like the antique dealers that go around buying and selling from each other.

CL says

What are the far left denying that is provably true?

I tend toward liberally progressive responses (I think) because I've gone so far right, I'm left now.
The biggest thing that the left is denying is that the basis of their platforms for health care, budgets, jobs, (basically, anything that takes money to run it) is standing on a pyramid scheme of resource extraction to accumulate wealth by a few people. Some of them realize they must give up some of their accumulated wealth in order to pay into such systems, but none are suggesting that we restrict the wealth accumulation which removes resources at the lowest levels, where they would do the most good if left to the inefficiencies of local economies and physical labors. Instead, the Democrats are simply Republicans Lite : advocating for "growth" and "business" and "economy" without any discussion of what that growth is doing, whether a business is useful to our future, or whether the economy is a driving factor and information source, or simply a side effect of the activities (useful or consumptive) of hormone-driven animals reacting to stimuli of mindless marketing.
In other words, the Big Lie is that people intentionally know what the hell they are actually doing. The Republicans use this lie to tell people to vote against Democrats who would run their lives, under the premise that those listening to them would actually be running their own lives in their best interests in the first place. The Democrats believe that SOME (educated, elites, whatever) are capable of running or even guiding people to some goal, but they have no consensus on what that goal should be (other than Humanism, which is a BIG mistake: something like Cockroachism).
