One of the biggest modivators of the recent revolutions in the Middle East is the price of Food. Rising food prices have left many squeezed finincially in the Middle East. So I would predict that rising food prices in the United States would cause ever more civil unrest in many Middle East countries.
On a side note, despite all of the revolutions, most of these countries are in even worst shape then before. While political freedoms may have expended, damamge to there infrustruture, not to mention day to day destablization has led to a sharp decrease in tourism. In many ways they were far better off not rocking the boat.
