I always dislike the fact that waiters have to split tips with the restaurant supervisors, cooks and owners. Owners pay waiters minimum wage and argue that the waiters make up the rest from tips.

Starbucks workers sued Starbucks arguing that that wasnt right, and won $14 Million, plus approx $4M in interest.

I agree. The tips are what make a shitty job less shitty; dilluting the tips with management and the kitchen reduces that factor.
