You gave Phoenix as an example. I have 3 condos under contract today, that are selling at 80%+ off of peak prices. They are not even in the worst areas, though certainly not luxury. 30K for a 3/2 2 car garage 1450 square feet, near metro rail and freeways... rents for $800. This isn't 2000 pricing, this isn't 1990 pricing, this is NEVER pricing, they sold new for 60's in 1982.
