I understand that some in the Catholic Church "love" little boys. Must be OK with the bosses.

Britain's most senior Catholic is named 'Bigot of the Year'

Cardinal Keith O'Brien was named Stonewall's Bigot of the Year last night, despite threats from Barclays and Coutts to withdraw their sponsorship of the awards over the category.

Cardinal O'Brien, the most senior figure in the Catholic Church in Britain, was "honoured" for his outspoken attacks on proposals to legalise same-sex marriage, which he has described as a "grotesque subversion of a universally accepted human right".

Oh Goodie another lefty atheist hate monger calling someone a bigot.
With all of the energy these organization spend on sticking it to the catholic church, they could be doing something constructive. Like getting rid of all of the child molesters in our Education system. The teachers unions like to molest children too, yup, there's about 3 or 4 known cases every year. So THAT must mean teachers are pedophiles. All of them.
End the education system around the world, spare the children unnecessary abuse at the hands of Atheist liberal child rapers.

Or they could actually do something that matters, like trying to make people's lives better since they don't believe there is God to do that.

It must suck to be you. The only hate mongering I can hear is coming from the Church.

As demonstrated on this thread, there is no reason that gay sex is immoral, and certainly no reason why it should be illegal or that gay marriage should be illegal. The 14th Amendment and the Supreme Court decision in Loving vs. Virgina clearly show that gay marriage must be legal and equal to straight marriage.

So, yes, any organization that actively campaigns against gay marriage is composed of bigots. This has nothing to do with atheism. Even when I was a brainwashed child who prayed, I would have considered marriage equality a basic civil right. It's a no-brainer as there is no legal justification whatsoever to making gay marriage inferior in the eyes of the law. The entire motivation behind the anti-gay movement is pure bigotry, plain and simple.

I gave everyone plenty of time and opportunity to show otherwise. I even invited the pope to join in on the conversation -- the pussy didn't show up. There is no justification for advocating laws that make homosexuals second class citizens with fewer rights.

Any teacher that is convicted of molesting a child goes to jail. The same should be done to priests. No more, no less. The teacher unions do not cover up child molestations, but the Catholic Church has been caught doing so numerous times.

Now, firing a teacher is way too difficult, but the teacher's unions do nothing to prevent the law from arresting and convicting teachers that are child molesters. That's why the Catholic Church gets so much shit; it actively covered up many abuses for decades. The institution of the Catholic Church is itself responsible for these abuses by actively protecting and enabling the abusers.

It's not bigotry to convict a black man who actually committed a crime. Nor is it bigotry to convict an institution that actually committed a crime. We're not "pre-judging", we're judging.

Hate is not necessarily a bad thing. When you see pictures of the Holocaust, you are supposed to hate the people who committed that atrocity. Hate is a natural response to injustice and evil.

What's important is whether or not the hate is warranted, the entities to which it is directed, and the actions that arise from the emotional motivation.

The number of children abused by "Atheist liberals" pales in comparison to the number abused by Catholic priests.

OH YEAH!? Well my Bishop could kick Your Dean's ass in game of hand slap or flinch.

I'm curious though, what's the cutoff number before it rates as an issue?
