As I said, Bush paved the way for Obama. If Republicans hadn't illegally stolen the election of 2000, Gore, who was elected, would have been president. 9/11 would have never happened. Executive power would not have increased. And you Republicans wouldn't have to be worried about losing your guns or a black guy in the White House. Considering all that, was it worth stealing the 2000 election?

You can say that 911 never would have happened had Gore been in the White House but you can't prove that statement to BE true.
One cannot prove that had the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs missed Earth that human beings would never have risen, but one can know the odds. Al Gore didn't believe that America needed another Pearl Harbor, and wouldn't have wanted one. He also wouldn't have sat back deliberately ignoring an intelligence report titled Bin Ladin Determined to Strike in US.
And certainly Al Gore wouldn't have supported the evil Patriot Act and all the evils it caused which ultimately led to Obama being elected and given the Nobel Peace Prize for not being Bush.
"Where civil liberties are concerned, they have taken us much farther down the road to an intrusive, 'Big Brother'-style government — toward the dangers prophesized by George Orwell in his book '1984' — than anyone ever thought would have been possible in the United States," Gore told an enthusiastic crowd of 3,000 that filled DAR Constitution Hall in 2003 after calling the Patriot Act "mass violations of civil liberties".
Bush was an idiot. Gore was not. I stand by my statement. It is unreasonable to think that humans would have evolved with dinosaurs still roaming the Earth, and it is unreasonable to assume 9/11 would have happened if Gore had been elected and enacted his policies. The Butterfly Effect alone almost guarantees it.

Nor was Bill Clinton, but he was a damn good president compared to Bush, Obama, and everyone who ran for the Republican nomination with the possible exception of Ron Paul. Clinton kept the peace, maintained the best economy since WWII destroyed all competition for the U.S., committed no crimes against humanity, and the biggest complaint people had about the government was that the president got a blow job in the Oval Office. Gore would have been a continuation of the Clinton prosperity and policies except without the faties in the White House.
Republicans ultimately fucked themselves over by stealing the election. Today people consider Republicans to be despicable, selfish tools of the wealthy who will gladly destroy America to further their agenda of increasing the rich-poor gap by destroying the middle class. And they will lie, and cheat, and steal, and kill to do it. People did not loathe Republicans in the 1990s the way they do now.
