Well surprise surprise...

I was wondering how they pulled that off on a Monday, just after last Friday they were bitching about fiscal problems.

https://californiaglobe.com/fr/california-facing-25-billion-budget-shortfall-next-year/

A Legislative Analyst’s Office report released on Wednesday found that California revenue is $41 billion below expectations, likely resulting in a massive $25 billion shortfall in the upcoming 2023-2024 state budget. The LAO recommends lawmakers start cutting the budget when they begin the January session.

Minus a severely affected budget by the COVID-19 pandemic a few years ago that had a $54 billion deficit, California claimed budget surpluses in recent years. This includes last years’ massive $97.5 billion surplus...

That surplus was due to the goosing of the stock market by Wuhan Virus "relief" and an accommodating Fed. Those things are now gone.

Poor Mish. He took some punishment around here. However, when you are reliably, assertively wrong about just about everything economic, that's bound to happen. I wonder if his losing streak has persisted?

Mish posted here? I had enough of that imbecile when he was advocating for second-class treatment of the non-vaccinated at hospitals.

Mish also banged the drum about having roads full of self-driving cars by 2018, or 2020 at the latest.
