That's a nice little figure for CA, right? Unfortunately the next owners won't be so lucky. Because CA had this thing called "Prop13" which held down property taxes for house owners see wiki info here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/California_Proposition_13_(1978)
Prop 13 is pretty controversial, yep.
Can I get this on a 3.5% FHA?
There are downpayment assistance programs, provided you can afford the PMI.
When I saw the OP headline, I thought of things like inventing a vaccine to cure a disease. Then I clicked the link and saw it's a house that has its own pizza oven. Why pay $54 million for a pizza oven when you can buy pizza for $10? Even if you save $10/pizza, you'd need to eat 5 million pizzas just to break even. That's more than 100 pizzas per day, every day, for a whole lifetime. Even if you have kids who really like pizza, how fat are they going to be if they try to eat that much?
APOCALYPSEFUCK is Shostakovich says
All that and no vomitorium?
Money doesn't buy good taste, it seems.
