A Manhattan real estate broker featured on the hit reality show "Million Dollar Listing New York" was spotted on a recent episode digitally enhancing promotional photos of a $7 million home.

During a May episode, Luis Ortiz, 26, and his brother used Photoshop to alter promotional photos of a five-bedroom home in Manhattan's swanky Greenwich Village by adding marble countertops, hardwood floors and upgrading the kitchen.

So why not just spend $50k, do the upgrades for real and charge $7.1M?

Are there any pictures that aren't Photoshopped anymore?

Also, doesn't that realtor remind you of a certain SNL character?

New York's hottest apartment is Crease Monkey. This pad has everything: lights, marble counter-tops, trolls pencil toppers, an albino midget singing Sinatra, and urinaltors. What's a urinaltor? It's when you dress up a realtor in a gimp outfit and use him as a urinal.

Listing agents have been photoshopping listing photos ever since the tool became available. And it is not just high end properties. For example you can make an empty room look bigger by adding furniture. Since the furniture is not real, it can be scaled to make the room look more usable.

I thought the same thing as others here, 'What's the big deal?" Adding marble countertops, though, is not just photoshopping lighting effects into the picture to make it pretty. Maybe they could get away with photoshopping a couple bedrooms and then selling them as improvement plans.

Again, as a $7M listing who gives a rat ass WHAT the kitchen looks like? At that price point the entire house could be gutted, rebuilt into a palace with the costs lost in the day to day price fluctuations.

Article is useless without before and after pictures. Video runs through them too fast. If I were dictator I'd execute the realtor for this.
