What exactly does George Halverson do to earn 9 million dollars?
He manipulates politicians into throwing billions at the Kaiser empire, including for-profit practice groups and "nonprofit" HMO (which retained over $1 billion in "net income" in its most recent reporting year, but paid no tax because it's "nonprofit").
Three major unions (Teamsters, UFCW, UNITE-HERE) have written to Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi that Obamacare "will destroy the very health and wellbeing of our members along with millions of other hardworking Americans." This follows the Roofers' April call "for repeal or complete reform" of the legislation.
[I should acknowledge, not all unions agree. In particular, the illegal SEIU/Kaiser collusion retains its enthusiasm.]
