It might be more useful to know who amongst these so called super rich residents actually wind up paying the full tax monte. Obviously, having the wealth means the means to avoid the taxes based on numerous niceties and avoidances.

I think the stats don't tell who stays and who leaves but rather are a cumulative number that includes new money made in the state
California has more rich recently because more wealth has been created through Silicon Valley ipos
