Well my concern with Whatsapp is it uploads your entire address book to their servers. This is convenient for the needs of the app, but invasive IMO.
Via WiFi of course, don't like getting raped with roaming charges.
refreshing to see even you at times dont want to pay for infrastructure you keep using.
It's a method for them to collect valid email addresses/phone numbers to sell to marketers....download that shit and expect you and your contacts to be bombarded.

So any recommends on best text messaging app? I'd like it to be as seamless and simple as possible to communicate with international recipients, or to use when travelling internationally. Via WiFi of course, don't like getting raped with roaming charges. I have an iPhone. I read about WhatsApp but seems tons of security issues with that one.
