After he was cleared by the first set of officers, a second set of officers drove up the street, rammed Perdue's vehicle and began shooting at his head. He was not hit.
"It was only the poor marksmanship of Torrance officer Brian McGee that led to Mr. Perdue being alive today," said Perdue's attorney Robert Sheahen.
In the report, the district attorney found that because McGee and his partner, Erin Sooper, were "anxious" and in a state of "panic," their attempt to kill Mr. Perdue was justified, Sheahen said, adding that investigators never contacted Perdue nor his wife for their accounts about what happened.

I normally side with LEOs and try and see the logic behind what they do, but this is so insane it's almost unbelievable. While looking for a 300lb black man, cops saw a similar looking truck with 2 old Asian ladies and begin to fire upon them hitting both ladies, then 2 blocks away another officer hears the shooting, gets all jumpy and opens up on this Jesse Pinkman looking dude with his pistol. It's almost cartoon-like.

What a disgusting statement. Mr. Perdue should be allowed to kill those cops and the DA since he has reasonable fear for his life.

Of course not. The investigators don't care about justice or public safety. They only care about covering the asses of cops on killing sprees.

We should all fear for our safety with these roving gangs of nutjob simpletons armed to the gills with no accountability for their actions. It should justify any citizen taking out any and all police and all of those cashing checks in the "justice" system

Perhaps if you fear your safety, it might be time for another line of work?

You don't get it: nowadays people become police officers not because they want to "serve the community" or "fight crime" or seek thrills any other bullshit. It's all about inflated salaries and fat pensions. Which means we have police force full of people who don't like the job and lack aptitude for police work but stay anyway, even though they are constantly shitting their pants in fear of not surviving to see the day their first pension check comes in.

I did that the day after the Dorner manhunt ended, and the guy thought I said Dorner and made some angry remark.
