With eavesdropping by NSA and others, we're all one leak away from having all our communications online.

Government loves to have our communications public, they don't want their communications made public. If our governments conversation went public and we all heard about all those backroom deals, and all their crooked use of taxpayer dollars to enrich themselves, we'd have a revolution within a day.

Time for NSA to leak tapes of Putin having phone sex with Kabaeva. =))

nothing would happen. It's been done over and over again, from the Pentagon Papers to Obama's Deal to Edward Snowden. People remain deeply divided over other issues, and distracted by football games and swimsuit issues, and they're more likely to be overweight than starving, so they don't revolt.

US seems remarkably restrained so far. If we take seriously all the NSA allegations of Snowden, they ought to have PLENTY to leak. When does the hammer drop?

Bumpity Bump Bump.

Victoria "Nurse Ratchett" Nuland's husband is Robert Kagan, that lover of peace and law.

“F--- the E.U.,” Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Victoria Nuland said in a private telephone call that was intercepted and leaked online.

Fuck the E.U. Bitches!!!

I'm only embarrassed for one person in this thread.

How do you begrudge people for doing thier job ? The same job that diplomats have always been doing. That recording only shows people working hard at their jobs, and it wasn't supposed to be public.

What, are you a closet fan of Obama now ?

"Long before Nuland’s visit this week, Russia accused Washington of meddling in the affairs of one of its close neighbors and of inappropriately championing the opposition cause. The substance of the Nuland conversation is sure to increase those complaints."

This is really old now, but I didn't bring it up.

Obamas job is to make life in America better, feels like they are just dicking around middle east and Russia now instead, with no benefit to US taxpayers in any way shape or form. How is that "public service"?

Even your Karl Marx union gets nothing out of it, just paying the bill for all kinds of military interventions.
