The Captain can't help it. He is one of those low bandwidth, i.e., low intelligence people you keep hearing about. He is so dumb he doens't know he is dumb. Still, it is fun to read his posts. Like reading the posts of a monkey who doesn't know any better.

What good is a bulletproof vest that doesn't cover the whole chest area. Being shot in the throat is one thing, what was he laying down kneeling up begging her not to shot him, or laying down, and was he wearing a saggy bullet proof vest that would allow shot to go to the heart from that angle.

It certainly doesn't pass the bullshit test. It just doesn't sound like someone standing straight asking someone to fire a bullet into his vest to see if it works. The only way it could have hit his heart is if the vest failed or was a homemade number and just couldn't stop a bullet. But as the story is presented, it doesn't make any sense at all.

Even if it caught the vest, some people don't realize a high velocity little .22 will more likely penetrate a "bullet proof" vest than a 45 auto or a powerful, Dirty Harry 44 magnum will. They just say "small caliber weapon", so I bet it was a .22 rifle if the bullet still caught the protective edge of the vest, yet penetrated.
