It is not possible to explain a complicated topic like this without simplification. We are very aware that this video is not painting a full picture of the situation. But we hope that it may lay the foundation on which you can try to do your own research and understand how horribly Fu**ed up the whole situation is.

Yep, it's a good thing there wasn't a single democrat in a leadership position that felt that there was a problem with Saddam Hussein...

Oops I have read your posts, my bad on the contributions of the Dems on the last war.

Only one person had the authority to order troops to Iraq and only one person is responsible. Simple fact. Whether anyone in congress had a problem with Hussein is irrelavent.

Congress didn't declare war. Congress passed the Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution of 2002 which authorized Bush to use the military "as he determines to be necessary and appropriate" AFTER diplomatic efforts failed.

Congress hasn't declared war since the declarations of war on buglaria, hungary, and romania june 5th 1942.

War is the authorization for use of military force.
Only difference is in the wording, and some minor things, like 'draft' and 'soup kitchens'
Bottom line: Military goes out and kills people in both instances.

Naw. Everyone knows I love people disagreeing with me in my threads. I've never once deleted anyone who wanted to fight about my opinions or my facts or anything else.

The thing is that he actually believes that...

Lack of a good local dictator created a power vacuum?

Hows that for a 5 second summary.

Depends on where you want to draw the boundaries of the lesson?

There are certain commenters here who don't understand the difference between facts/logic and trash.

Don't actually use my name or I might delete your comment.

There is a difference between statistics and facts. Often certain commentors facts are trash

Dictators have been removed many times, without creating this sort of chaos.

Disbanding the Iraqi military, creating an instant unemployed underclass with military training, was the key mistake.
