With the release of the Q2 2014 S&P/Case-Shiller indices, I have updated my national housing chart. I still have to update the metro housing charts.

There were some big changes to the national S&P/Case-Shiller index this quarter. First, the national stats are now monthly numbers instead of quarterly numbers.

Second, the entire history of national housing numbers has changed. Case-Shiller now has the 2006 housing peak lower than before. Using the beginning of 2000 as the base year (100), CS previously said the peak housing value was 189.93 in Q2 2006. They now say the peak value was 184.62. CS previously said the Q1 2014 number was 150.76, but they've now increased it to 161.32.

I hope that Shiller will update www.irrationalexuberance.com soon, to see what he does.

Redfin and Zillow

Can't seem to locate/redfin data... Not sure. Logan suggested zillow wasn't great.
You have a link to redfin charts, CIC? Sorry for OT, JP
