They certainly aren't worth paying a lot for.
The willingness to actually LEARN and work is a far better indicator of future success than the mere possession of another degree. It's easier than ever to be an autodidact. The knowledge of the world is quite literally at your fingertips. If you can't use that to find a niche, you aren't applying yourself.
