I did hear a story from a guy in Tri Valley. He had a fabulous career, travelling and doing tech support and sales for big tech when it was like printing money. He retired at 64, but I guess his money management skills weren't the greatest, and he lost all on big roll. He didn't despair, and just used his connections to get back to work and had enough again to retire at 72.

I have heard of doctors and orthodontists (some with extravagant wives) who retired but went back to work in their late 70's and 80's due to poor future projections on their retirement savings. They had to re-apply for their licenses. It's hard to imagine such. I knew one guy who had to work literally up until the month he died, but he was well loved by clients.

There's that story about the Johnny Carson sidekick Ed McMahon. Carson would always talk about how rich McMahon was. Ed had to declare bankruptcy at 85 years old, ostensibly for over extending himself due to his wife's lifestyle demands.

As I age, I find that younger women are actually easier to please and far less jealous than women who are closer to my age.
( I don't hang around any female who is close to my age, she's too old for me.)

The young ones assume that I'm doing other activities if I'm not with them; the older ones seem to think I'm spending my time seeking other women, and seem jealous.

Why bother with a jealous older girl who is never happy when there may be a younger one who's happy just going out from time to time?
