Construction firms may have to learn to build a new and complex type of car-fuelling station as Japan and the US move on plans to enable cars powered by fuel cells.

[...]

To prepare for these launches, Japan and California have set their sights on a 100-station network. Japan said it intends to complete its version by March 2016, and the state government of California has committed itself to providing up to $20m a year until it also reaches that number.

Aces!

Now all we need is a successful re-think of hydrogen fuel cells away from platinum. A few technological innovations should do that trick.

Assuming that no similar technological innovations occur in the world of electric car batteries, hydrogen should close the threefold cost gap it suffers relative to conventional electric cars. What could go wrong? It's a done deal.

Hospitals will also need to expand the capabilities and size of their burn wards, which creates all sorts of new economic opportunities.

It is an exciting time to be alive!

With an AMU of 1, it's a no-brainer that Hydrogen will save money even on pipes and tanks to transport and store it.
