More deflationary evidence in Europe and Asia – world’s largest shipping company reporting falling freight rates.
According to Reuters, shipping rates for ports from Asia to Norther Europe fell by over 10% for the week endin 10/10/2014. Rates have fallen for four consecutive weeks and 29 of the last 36 weeks.
The Asia to Northern Europe is the busiest route in the world. Current shipping rates are at the lowest level since October of 2013.
