Yep, no surprise there. I've had a lot of attention from women, once I'd switched from engineering (& then IT) to financial services.

The point is that I don't want 'em anymore. I mean it's one thing to be liked/respected when you're trying to make it in the world vs coming in for a *kill*, once a guy's already got his pot of gold.

Definitely. It's really sad in a way how my interaction with women has changed as I get older and richer. It's kinda like how strippers pay all this attention to you and you start to believe they really want you because they're so good at it, but then you have to take a step back and remember that they only want your wallet.

Could you give some concrete examples? Was it at work or outside of work? Did you move to a different physical environment and/or an office with a different gender mix? By all means camouflage as needed, but details would be interesting.

There's really nothing to say.

Yes, it's outside of work, as I don't even consider getting involved with female co-workers.

But basically, it's any social mixer, gathering, party, or whatever. The women who're *looking*, seem to gravitate towards me. And of course, someone knows someone, so it's not like there isn't gossip about ppl's careers and lifestyles. Remember, I own my own home and can travel at will, though typically, it's for business, as I don't have much free time.

Before, when I was a contractor in IT, there were a sparse number of women interested and I seemed to blend into the scene, without a high level of attention. No one went out of their way, to get close to me, unless I was already dating someone. And then strangely enough, that would peak someone's interest.

But realize, I hadn't dated in three years, so much of what goes on, doesn't impact my life anymore.

It was a long time ago, but like a lot of guys, I used to think that girlfriend boinking was the *end all* in life. But then, after college, once I started seeing international esc*rts, my worldview changed.
