Under the ObamaCare law, employers with more than 50 full-time employees will be required to provide employees with health insurance or potentially face a penalty. Under the ObamaCare law, a full-time employee is defined as an individual who works an average of at least 30 hours per week. This bill, the Save American Workers Act of 2014, would change the definition of "full time" to 40 hours per week, what most Americans think of as full-time. The employer mandate was to take effect in 2014, but the Obama administration delayed enforcement of the provision until January 2015.
