I was curious to test that hypothesis, but could not find a way to sort the User list by "Ignoring." I found "Ignored By", where several of my favorite posters are even more Ignored than I am. Is there a way to sort by Ignoring?

I think he might have a pretty thin skin. He's been ignoring me for a long time. I didn't even recognize his handle until I realized one day I was on his "ignore" list. So whatever happened between us had to have been pretty marginal. I swear, I don't even recollect ever having words with him. Which means I'm either REALLY insensitive... or he majorly overreacted.

I happened to notice that he took me off of ignore for a bit when he replied to something I put out there.... which makes me think he must visit the site anonymously, at times, to read up on those he's ignored.... Not that it really matters. Whatever makes him feel safe.

People handle others in one of 3 ways, at the bottom they will ignore you, in the middle they will fight/argue with you, at the top they will communicate with you. This is like the pyramid of debate except i'm adding a level below the lowest level on the pyramid which is ignore or make less of you, not by name calling but just pretending you do not exist.

I go by the theory that the offended party is always at fault. I have thick skin, and I never understood why some people lack a sense of humor.

I would say zero. In contrast, HC falls among the most insulting Users on Patnet, and pays premium for the privilege of insulting everyone. HC tends to Ignore me too, whenever we disagree about something. Perhaps at some point you said something skeptical of cap&trade, or maybe even Obamacare, either of which might get you Ignored by HC.
