They left out the part where the CIA found no evidence of Saddam supporting al Qaeda, and found little likelihood of WMDs, so Cheney built a separate one-time intelligence bureaucracy to "discover" those particular "findings", as he was not happy with the CIA's politically-incorrect conclusions.
