It says that an operator will be necessary and of course people to bring mortar and bricks to keep the machine supplied (but those two could be filled by a couple illegal mexicans)
I'm interested. But first, a " back of a napkin" labor calculation.
2 illegal mexican laborers are equal to how many:
mexican americans?
jigs?
white millennials?
If it means more brick homes and less crappy siding, I'm all for it.
Admit it, you do hate siding!
I wonder how many homes that bricklaying machine will buy?
None. It can't qualify for a loan until they give it a name and teach it how to turn food into shit.

Let's be perfectly honest here. Most quality trades people in this country has systematically been forced into retirement.
The real talent was muscled out by huge fish building contractors fishing in very small ponds, lobbying the local municipalities to make it more difficult if not illegal for small time operations to do quality construction work. The tens of thousands a year in new operating fees, licenses, and required insurances, that it takes now to do the most mundane construction tasks is dismal. All building in every city is being done by same very few large corporations that can afford all of the extortion at the city level to be allowed to work, in a relative competition free bidding environment. Then they get the cheapest, labor, and sought more and more ways to make construction a snap together process, of cheap flimsy hardware and building materials. While insisting that the homeowners of existing well built houses, can't get hurricane insurance unless they install $10,000's of expensive upgrades from windows to roof. Builders are getting away with shoddier and shittier construction greater than ever.
Then why do you keep voting for big business?
It's all they know: on any issue, support the side with the largest number of country-club memberships.
Sure, there may be a few wealthy on the other side(s) of an issue, but there's a simple rhetorical trick to wash away the unease of cognitive dissonance: those other wealthy people are "elites" who did not really earn it.
Hence Jeb's speaking honoraria are rightly earned through hard work, while Hillary's are evidence of egregious venality. San Fran violating immigration laws is a simple, clear outrage - as indeed it is - but the Confederate flag is something which must be understood in cultural context of nuance and heritage-identity issues of selfhood and holistic self-actualization and would everyone not a southerner please butt out because we're having our feminist womyn's cultural-gender assertiveness awakening down here (at this point, many wingers begin to sound like the most gobbledygook Endowed Chair and Dean of Latina Victimization Deconstruction Studies in the sheer density of doublespeak bullshit).
It is the fundamental psychological process of the modern right: the faction with the most wealth is always right.
By the way: I'm speaking of the sentient ones. The complete brownshirt idiots don't function well verbally/logically, so they post the same FRED chart 5x in hopes that it will therefore be 5x as true. Then they go home to eat shit and fuck the dog.
Uh, wow, I've been an advocate for the trades, because it's hard to outsource a plumbing job to India. Up to now I would have also said it was hard to migrate/roll over trade jobs to automation ... uh, up to now. Based on this, it would not become a good time to become a mason (a brick layer). An Australian engineer has developed a bricklaying robot that can lay 1,000 bricks an hour, work 24/7, and complete the shell of a brick home in just two days. It says that an operator will be necessary and of course people to bring mortar and bricks to keep the machine supplied (but those two could be filled by a couple illegal mexicans). The operator will need a bit more training and will get paid a bit more but ... this trade might be in for a nasty transformation.
