Russia might break the Dutch Flower Monopoly next. Holland controls most of the world's cut flower market, and does it by controlling Rootstock, the same way Monsanto wants to control agriculture by controlling GMO seed.
Dutch middle men make most of the profit; the African and South American growers very little.

I hope not. I'm still waiting for my Dutch tulip stock to recover from 1637 crash. Should be any day now that the tulips pass their peak value, which adjusted for inflation would be $303,000 per bulb or six times the average person's annual salary. I'm gonna be a millionaire!
