pretty good, but angry argument doesn't actually help patrick.net spread. no one forwards those angry posts as far as i can tell. mostly people still find out about patrick.net by clicking on some search result for the original post: http://patrick.net/housing/crash1.html

it is interesting that people do divide themselves into separate internets and largely use that special internet to complain about the other half and how awful they are. ie, liberals suck, conservatives are morons...

I had to take a shower after thinking that CIC and I are in a symbiotic relationship. CIC also had to take a shower, but for different reasons.

Post some controversial attention grabbing arguments on other similar sites with links to Patnet. - persistently.
Something like the stone age. If one village needs more women, they go raid the next village.

The angry meme should be CIC's avatar.

Very good. Patrick.Net used to be and should continue to be a thoughtful exchange of , sometimes conflicting, ideas and not a juvenile exchange of insults. When a topic is posted discuss the topic, and do not use it as an opportunity to 'zing' someone else. In other words as an educator, I am saying 'stay on pint children.'

Not possible. You will notice it's always the boys, never the girls that indulge in insults and fights. The male has always been the less mature one, and nothing can change that.
When us boys in our 50's have our very important meeting at the bar (Tilted Kilt) during happy hours, the conversations inevitably turn to boobs and dirty jokes. And we love it.
"Boys will be boys"

You must not have ventured out much with women, so godspeed to you and your wife. Stay happy that way, nothing wrong with it ;)

You are mistaking maturity with disinterest. Men are simply wired to be primarily interested in female appearances, otherwise the world as we know it would never have evolved. If they had been "mature" this earth would not be populated, but a wasteland.

some of the biggest trolls on here are women.
