Land of the kama sutra is still backwards centuries after their infiltration coupled with victorian england.
----------
Those who think Islam is a religion of peace need to read the chapter on Islamic invasion of India written by Will Durant, the world famous historian. He called it a "bloody chapter" in the history of India.
MIlions of hindus killed, women raped, kidnapped, all in the name of Islam, the so called "religion of peace". In doing this, the muslim clerics willingly sided with rulers, justifying their pillage as a duty enshrined in Koran. So much has been the plunder that there is not one big temple left in North India, not only holy shrine that does not have a mosque abutting it. Kashi Vishwanath temple, which is to Hindus what Vatican is to Catholics, has a mosque abutting it, because that mosque was built there by a muslim tyrant Aurangzeb, a Moghul ruler of India in 17th century.
Read excerpts from Will Durant's "The story of civilization" to know how brutal that occupation was: The bitter lesson that may be drawn from this tragedy is that eternal vigilance is the price of civilization. A nation must love peace, but keep its powder dry.†(page 463)
