This dilhole needs to look for another job. Last week when this story first broke, I suggested to the IT dept that we implement our own SVN repository, and stop using Github.
We had it up and running by Thursday. I never liked Github nohow, and I'm especially no fan of Cloud based data. Not when I'm part of a competent IT department.
Leave that shit for the clueless Millennial rookies.
