"I support politicians. In 2008, I supported Hillary Clinton, I supported many other people, by the way, and that was because of the fact that I'm in business."

I find it bizarre that people take this explanation without batting an eyelash.
So business requires giving money to politicians? Really?
If so, doesn't that imply that something of value to obtained in exchange. What else could it be referring to?

This is nothing if not a blatant admission/accusation of Clinton being corrupt, and himself a corrupter.

"This is business"/"everybody is doing it" is a rather pathetic excuse.

Pathetic, yes, but ive witnessed people from both sides of the aisle use it as excuse for their less desirable actions.

Of course, those same people who excuse away their own actions by less than whole-heartedly lamenting (if you dont like the rules, change them), will reem an opponent to death for actions that fall within the rules.

All hypocrits are ASSHOLES! But are all ASSHOLES , hypocrits?

This is not a question of hypocrisy.
The question is: Is there quid pro quo here? Is buying politicians to achieve business goals actually legal in this country?

Yes.

Trump is going to prove it in the September Debates, and like Mua'dib, he's gonna kill her campaign with a word.

"I know you can be brought, because as a Billionaire Businessman, I brought you."

Joe Kennedy was a great first SEC head because he was a stock jobber himself.

He didn't "buy" her, he donated to her campaign or foundation. 100% legal.

I guess we're all so blaze that a billionaire goes on the record saying he bought a politician - had to for business dealings - and no one gives a damn. It's legal, so...
