Interesting. The primary/caucses so far seem to bear that out . He does very well in open primaries -which makes me wonder about FL, where it is a closed primary. In my state, you don't have to register, you just can vote for any party-but just once. it will be interesting to see the Tuesday results. I wonder about MO- not a lot of polling-wonder if it will be like Kansas with cruz taking it?
if it will be like Kansas with cruz taking it?
Probably not. People in FL (mostly) have the same mentality as someone in the northeast, and would expect Trump to win in FL anyway.
I officially became Republican so I can steal the party right out from under Rubio, Bush and Governor Rick Scott.
I'm going to write President Trump letter and ask him to fire them first.
Well, Trump is against free trade, Clinton is all for it.
Clinton is farther on the right than Trump, so people react accordingly.
I really wonder if the AFL-CIO will do the right thing this year and endorse Trump.
Was listening to Airtalk on I think KPCC and some guy was going on about putting a face on people screwed by trump like with his Trump University. I was thinking why don’t they show the thousands of dead bodies from Hillary voting yes on the war, or a corpse of Chris Stevens to put a face on what she has done.
Even if Trump is BSing us the shear fact he would address the things that are destroying this country is enough to bring people out.
Or the millions of broken homes and ruined lives from Free Trade.
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Nearly 46,000 Pennsylvania Democrats have switched to Republicans since the beginning of the year.
According to Penn Live, some experts attribute the mass exodus to Donald Trump.
There's even a title for the movement. It's called "Ditch and Switch†and calls for lifelong Democrats to abandon the party, register Republican, and help ensure Trump's place in the general election.
Professor of Public Affairs at Franklin and Marshall College, Dr. G. Terry Madonna, tells the paper he has a theory behind the switch.
"With the increase in support in exit polls for Trump among working class, blue-collar Democrats, it is my belief that these are people who fall into that genre,†said Madonna.
The numbers are similar in other states as well.
The paper says in Massachusetts, as many as 20,000 Democrats have gone from blue-to-red this year with Trump cited as a primary reason. And in Ohio, as many as 1,000 blue collar workers have promised to switch parties and vote for Trump.
Records show that the party changes seen in the first two months of 2016 are twice those seen in all of 2013.
