There is a culture war going on between the west and the middle east. The west will only win this war if we abandon the notion that religion should be respected and stand united under truly western ideas: liberty, democracy, equality, secularism, and naturalism. If we don't support these five great principles then we will lose the culture war through attrition. None of these five principles can be protected without protecting them all.
