Poland is nice, but very flat except in the south. In fact, the name "Poland" means "people who live in the fields".

The problem with being flat and being between Germany and Russia is that it's hard to keep them out.

I really enjoyed visiting my grandmother's village in Poland. I like Polish people too. It's kinda like the US in the 1950's, before the political left turned everything to shit.

Recently I asked several people in Poland about salary.
Salary went up 100% by average over last 10 years. Greatly outpace inflation. People getting richer year by year, visible everywhere.
