She said she short circuited an argument. She said A therefore C. What she meant was A therefore B therefore C. By short circuiting, she meant that she didn't spell out the B part. The whole thing was a word parsing nightmare, but it was not a description of a mental failure.

The reason they are doing this, is so if she can manage to stand for 90 minutes and pontificate on moderators adulation of her, and deflect Trumps retorts, and counter questions.
Then the media can declare her the winner. They are starting early by making this debate about if she can stand or not. The context and the quantifiable answers she gives is really going to be secondary by time the debate starts. The only way Trump wins this(in the MSM eyes), is if Hillary falls flat on her face. Literally.

This assumes that Hillary actually shows up for the debate, which is questionable.
