Trump: Military contractors, health insurance companies, stocks or REITs that do well with inflation, oil and coal, buy puts on green energy stocks, possibly air conditioning manufacturers, russian index funds. Stock index puts.
Hillary: Probably banks, index funds, definitely gun manufacturers.

Hillary: Rent in a strip mall and about 4 vinyl "Free Gas Card with Obamcare sign up" signs in an economical depressed erea where you know they will get virtually 100% subsidization.
3,000 of those, the residuals would be guaranteed. Then set up a pot dispenssary and make money from medical pot, a Cronut Roachcoach to keep them all economically unviable.
Build them tiny houses with grants from the tax payer and stick them in those, while sing songs with Bono and pal around with Brad Pitt.

A higher percentage will be depressed if Trump wins than if Hillary wins. At least based on current polls. It's not about you TD. Besides, the more educated, more intelligent folks that will be depressed if Trump wins, are the ones that are more likely to turn to pharmaceuticals (when dealing with depression).
If I thought for a second that Trump could do any of the BS he says he can do, I might give him a chance. Face it, you're more motivated by taxes and your bottom line. And I've got news for you, lower taxes by a few % aren't going to make you happy if we are the embarrassment of the world and in the greatest depression in more ways than one.

Well folks wanted to start a discussion topic on where to invest depending on election outcome. Any election will bring a whole bunch of winners and losers, some will gain monopoly and some will lose it.
My thoughts:
If Hillary wins:
- invest into Bank stocks, health care stock. (BAC, AET, HUM, UNH, ALL)
- avoid coal/fossil fuel stocks?
If Trump wins:
- Invest into coal.
- Avoid Tesla?
