Did you forget about this?
True, but this isn't an article post. I am no longer posting those here.
But... you guys are investors, big hitters in that conference, it's not open to the public,
Whatever you want data wise or prediction wise, let me know
Quit advertising your idiotic "I pay a fee to speak at these mortgage broker blatherfests to try and buy some credibility" spam on Patrick.net
Or, if you do, pay Patrick advertising fees and put it in the form of spam advertising, which it is.

This is about economics, not so much about the Mortgage Business, though the one panel I do have to grade the housing finance in this country.
I have a question.
Why so many empty chairs?
Can't see the crystal ball in any photos...
Was it under the lectern?
Why so many empty chairs?
conference was sold out but that isn't say much it's not that big of venue
One thing about this conference different than others that I have attended.
UCLA Anderson and Chicago Booth conferences are invites but really anyone can go if they want to. The cost for something like that $200 - $300 and you get local people to go attend and talk about local or state economics. Also the head speaker goes into more national stuff.
This conference is much different, not that I was speaking both days but it's a national conference with major hitters from all different areas of national housing themes.
1. Back drop.
A. Speakers are invite only, I believe $3K a pop to attend if you're not a speaker . That's not counting hotel or air fare. So, everyone I met outside of the panel speakers were
1) Wall Street Institutions
2) Government Finance Housing Individuals
3) CEO's of Real Estate investment firms that are national
4) Real Estate Single Family investors that run national companies, not local
So, there is no real local or state discussion it's more national. I don't believe any of you own a national real estate company, I am not sure if that aspect appeals to you but the single family rental panels and rental yield panels were really interesting to me. You guys can see the speakers above on who they're
2. These were panel discussion and they go on for 2 days. I couldn't attend all of them as they have a War room for a hour before our panel came up.
Theme is What Happens Next in Housing Finance and Single Family Rental

Why do yall pick on Logan, at least he does some groundwork and supplies data with his writting?
You don't have to agree with the data but give the man some credit.
I think it is a cool that he even takes the time to come here. And I give him the most credit of all, because he is in his possition. And still consults this place for the varying oppinions on the market.
He's here to learn from you, it sure would be a shame to let him get away without learning anying from him.
This is the first economic conference that I speaking at. I am on 2 panels
1.3 BREAKING BAD: Scoring the Housing Finance Market
Scoring the housing finance
You all know my take on this subject
2.4 DEJA VU: House and Rent Price Projections

List of panels and speakers here

I am still hoping that I can debate the David Stockman and his stance against the Fed.
I will post what I can from this conference

For prices, main theme I will try to show is that prices have legs as this country isn't a natural 6 month inventory country unless you have speculation demand or a recession
As 2016 has shown the low inventory myth holding demand back has been crushed, even though sales are historically low, they have been growing with demand
