FBI probing new Clinton emails

Everett Rosenfeld | @Ev_Rosenfeld

Then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton checks her PDA upon her departure in a military C-17 plane from Malta bound for Tripoli, Libya October 18, 2011.

The FBI is probing new emails related to Hillary Clinton, FBI Director James Comey said in a Friday letter.

"In previous congressional testimony, I referred to the fact that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) had completed its investigation of former Secretary Clinton's personal email server. Due to recent developments, I am writing to supplement my previous testimony," Comey wrote.

"In connection with an unrelated case, the FBI has learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation. I am writing to inform you that the investigative team briefed me on this yesterday, and I agreed that the FBI should take appropriate investigative steps designed to allow investigators to review these emails to determine whether they contain classified information, as well as to assess their importance to our investigation," he added.

***Jason Chaffetz tweet: FBI Dir just informed me, "The FBI has learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation." Case reopened***

Do you really think he would come out with a statement 11 days before the election if he wasn't sure there was something significant?

He explicitly said it might be nothing. They are just looking into it. He said he felt compelled to speak out only to let people know his previous statements about the case being closed were no longer correct. Feel free to assume away. The case against Hillary always seems to involve a lot of assumptions.

Shucks - thanks folks. I hope the level of political excitement turn down a few notches after the Victory November 8th, and we get a few weeks off in the big news department; I'm actually getting a little burned out. I hope Obama isn't pushed into something stupid to stick Trump with a major problem the day he steps into office and distract him from his Agenda to reform Trade and generally MAGA the fuck out of our Economy.

Hey Ironman...
Stupid question.
Is Robert Aria(whatever), that same guy who was a real estate agent in Arizona/Nevada?
is he a math teacher too?
I'm conf*sed.

I was gone for a few years when it all went down.

Yes, Robert A Ribas.

He has used at least 4 different screen names I'm aware of because the idiot continually posts in the exact same style and syntax.

He does so even at risk of his job and apparently his physical safety(at least according to him), so I'm pretty sure he is an internet addict or otherwise suffers from mental illness.

They're going to flip both Huma AND her estranged husband, who probably knows much about Hillary's crimes via Huma.

Both will agree to testify against Hilldabeast, which will start a cascade of others at the Clinton Foundation, people in IT who worked on the servers, and former assistants to Shillary @ State Department who'll also rat out Hillary's MANY crimes.

"In the stunning revelation the agent confessed that all 100 agents that worked the original email case believed Hillary Clinton had violated national security so badly that she should have her national security clearance revoked. Similarly all six of the department of justice attorneys that work the case believed that she should have been indicted.

These agents and attorneys believed the evidence in the original case was so strong that it was disheartening, dismaying, and literally sickening that the Justice Department nor the FBI moved forward with further inquiry."

Thanks.

It's not just Clinton, either. There are multiple angels being pursued by the FBI, including looking into the Clinton Foundation. There's already enough to charge Huma on 18 US Code 1001 for lying to Federal Agents about turning over all devices (much less on other mishandling classified information via her Yahoo! Forwarding: Many people have been convicted on this one)

It's unprecedented for a candidate to have an FBI Investigation Underway, and then re-opened on the basis of the spouse of a crony having more information that he wasn't supposed to possess.

The "Extremely Careless" is enough to disqualify her.

The "Extremely Careless" is enough to disqualify her.
===================

I'm not sure that would be a good thing, at this point. Just to play this thought out... If she were disqualified, she would have to be replaced by someone, right? Whoever that person is (Biden, Kaine maybe) wouldn't have been subjected to all the scrutiny everyone else has been under for the last couple of years.... Which would mean, any replacement would appear squeaky clean by comparison.

While we're on that topic, what would happen? The ballots have already been printed. Talk about a SCOTUS challenge waiting to happen if a vote for "Clinton" really means a vote for "Biden" or "Kaine." That's like the Florida-Gore-hanging chad-Buchannan thing on steroids.

You'd think there'd be petitions to ask the DOJ to issue the warrant ASAP. Looked... Couldn't find one.

I mean to say, "Disqualify her in the voter's minds for the top office."

After all, if she handles Foreign Affairs so poorly, and that's just one aspect, how will she handle the whole shebang?

She can't blame Russia for everything (though she will try).
