What's going through Trump's head right now?
1) Holy shit! What have I done?
2) Yeah... I'm the greatest...
3) Hillary and Barak promised this would never happen!
4) I feel the enormity of what has happened and I must dedicate myself fully to the job at hand.
My theory is that he did this to build his brand and fucked up and won.
So buy ammo now?
Meh ... if you feel compelled to. The stupid law will cause a huge spike in prices right now. The eventually it will mellow.
2. The pollsters were simply lying.
No no no. Their polling data was pretty good. It's a mix right now. Trump was just an odd candidate no one could predict. She is over performing in some states and under performing in others.
I swear to god this is CNN's international site a few moments ago...check the date/time in the file name.
You'd never know Trump won the election!!!
Thunderlips Russian Agent 0069 says
You'd never know Trump won the election!!!
He hasn't ... yet ... yet.
So it does seem to actually be true that either:
1. People were just not willing to tell pollsters their true level of support for Trump because of fear of the PC police.
2. The pollsters were simply lying.
OR they were not that far off. Hillary still probably wins the popular vote by a percent or two.
As for the swing states ? There are a lot of possible answers. How many used Diebold machines ? There's also the isue of how many people vote. Maybe the people that were hot to trot for Trump actually got out and voted in higher percentage than the Hillary voters.
The comedy shows should be good for a while. It should also be real interesting watching the Republicans fight (work together) over the direction of the country.
Maybe the establishment Repubs and Dems get together and make stuff happen? Who knows.
The one we have now is massive uncertainty ... and that is what the markets and balance of powers hate most.
Trump was just an odd candidate no one could predict.
I have been predicting that for months. (Well, Trump has not won YET.)
I also predicted Brexit.
You'd never know it was election night.
Andres Oppenheimer must be on suicide watch.
Clinton to media: Sweep the Leg
Trump was just an odd candidate no one could predict.
That's really the whole point. Isn't it? Both parties' establishments thought they could predict and control their voters. Both parties were wrong. Both parties are now going to change.
The voters have basically given both parties' establishment a big fuck you.
zactly.
he won't want to do the work. He will be a figure head and let the cabinet run things.
My theory is that he did this to build his brand and fucked up and won.
PLEASE HOLD AMERICA ... WE WILL BE RIGHT WITH YOU ... YOUR VOTES ARE IMPORTANT TO US ...
I have been predicting that for months. (Well, Trump has not won YET.)
I also predicted Brexit.
How?
I also predicted Brexit.
Yeah, but I predicted that Miley Cyrus would do something slutty. You don't hear me bragging. Oh wait, you do in this post.
Hillary YOU'RE FIRED!!
Next Comey will "resign" HA HA HA
he won't want to do the work. He will be a figure head and let the cabinet run things.
That is the way it should be, Carter tried doing it all himself which led to his failure
Maine 3 out of 4 of it's electoral votes called for Hillary. The other one is too close to call.
Why is it taking so long to call some of these states? C'mon Michigan and Pennsylvania. Maybe Comey should help them out. His ability to read 65k emails per day is impressive and should be put to good use to speed up the vote counting, don't ya think?
zzyzzx:
Utah and Wisconsin were NOT previously called for Trump.
Utah was JUST called for Trump.
Wisconsin, nor Arizona have been yet (he'll win them, though).
p.s. Congratulations to me (I only missed Nevada):
"Time is NOW: Predict next President-elect. Revisit *Tonight*. Don't be shy.

Trump.
Revolution is in the air, driven by largest block of angry, formerly disenfranchised voters in modern-American history.
Trump will get MANY votes of those in their 40s, 50s and 60s who've not voted in many, many years (maybe decades).
It's Brexit on steroids, driven by many of the reasons cited by Michael Moore.
It doesn't hurt his odds that Hillary is an utter piece-of-shit who causes even most Democratic-affiliated voters the need to hold their noses.
Biggest surprises:
1) Trump will win 80%+ of male vote.
2) Hillary's "massive" edge with women will fizzle into less than 9% advantage.
3) African-Americans will only cast 70% of the # of votes for Hillary that they did for Obama in 2008 or 2012.
4) Millennials will not turn out in anywhere near the numbers that they did in 2008, and those who do will vote in surprisingly large numbers for Jill Stein.
5) Trump will win North Carolina, Michigan, Nevada, Arizona and Pennsylvania (in addition to Florida & Ohio - he'll win by double digits in Ohio).
His ability to read 65k email per day is impressive
I could read faster. It's called Ctrl+A, Del.
Trump was just an odd candidate no one could predict.

Hey, anybody order this Evan McMuffin? Nobody seems to want to claim it.
Why is it taking so long to call some of these states? C'mon Michigan and Pennsylvania.
I know. I'm in Florida and I could have voted twice in the time these states are taking.
Congrats to freespeechforever (really).
You called this, in terms of dynamics & states, closer than anyone I know IRL or in the media.
@Patrick
